Raven, Hadley, Michael, Coen, and Steve stood in a circle, right next to the well.

“Steve, how did you get stuck in the well?” Hadley asked.

“It’s a long story,” Steve shook his wet head and started to explain, “It was early this morning, when I was awoken by my son Danny. He thought he had seen something outside, like a wolf. I looked and saw nothing. I got ready for the day and ate my breakfast that my wife, Lilly, had made. I left with Danny to go see if I could help the crops, or just be helpful. Me and Danny were messing around, and then he pushed me into the well. I told him to go get someone, and then a few minutes later, Michael appeared, but Danny wasn’t here. After a few minutes with Michael, I heard Hadley’s voice and thought Michael was going to fall in the well right on top of me. Finally, I got out.”

“Well, that must have been a handful. Did you get the joke?” Hadley asked. She always had a way to lighten the mood.

“Ha, ha. Does anyone know where Daniel is?” Steve responded sarcastically.  He looked around, listening for a sign of where his son went. He saw nothing. Then, Coen started speaking.

“He most likely went home after telling Michael.”

“How did you know that?” Michael asked.

“Just look at the boot tracks on the ground. Then its easy to tell which way he went.” Raven pointed out. Everyone looked at her in silence. She was the one who just randomly showed up and no one noticed her. Raven started to feel something, she thought that this feeling was uncomfortable. Finally, Steve asked a question.

“Who are you, and when did you get here?” Steve asked.

“This is Raven, and she was found in the forest.” Hadley responded.

“Come on Steve, lets go find Daniel.” Coen reminded him.

“Woah, woah, woah, when did you get so grumpy Coen?” Steve wondered.

“He has been assigned to help you with whatever you are doing.” Hadley told him.

“Okay then, lets go to my house.” Steve said.

Then, Steve and Coen went in the direction of Steve’s house. Hadley and Michael stayed next to the well. Wait, where was Raven? Raven was following Steve and Coen. She wanted to know where Steve lived, and she wanted to meet Daniel, or Danny? She didn’t know what to call him.

She looked down at the ground and saw that the boot tracks were not going where Steve and Coen were heading. They took a left turn, in the direction of the forest. She decided to follow the tracks instead. The tracks kept going into the direction of the forest, until they stopped right at the forest’s edge. Then, wolf tracks started to appear. She followed the wolf tracks, wondering where Danny went. It wasn’t until she got deep in the forest when she saw it.
